Job Details

  • CVICU experience a plus but not required.
  • Travel RN position in a blended ICU setting.
  • Role involves care for adult and geriatric patients.
  • Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair / replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR.

    • Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH.
  • Float requirements include Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and ED holding as needed.
  • Travel experience is a plus.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : 7a-7p.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36.
  • Call requirements : Yes.
  • No block schedule requests; 48 hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed.
  • Flexible shift preference accepted (day or night).

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit : ICU / CVICU blended unit.
  • Patient population : Adult and Geriatric.
  • Float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed.
  • Patient ratio : 1 : 2.
  • Common diagnoses treated include cardiac events, respiratory failure, stroke, trauma, and complex procedures like CRRT, TCAR & TVAR.

    • Additional Details

  • Firm start dates; candidates should be submitted for the listed start date only.
  • Housing options available.
  • Unit has 16 beds with a 1 : 2 patient ratio.
  • Equipment includes Baxter pumps.
  • EHR system : Medhost.
