About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : GA or Compact license required

Must-Have :

• Must have 2 years of experience with inpatient psychiatric care
• Must be able to float within facility and to additional locations as needed

Description :

The candidate is expected to have experience working with various psychiatric disorders and chemical dependency.

Responsibilities include medication administration, physical hold protocols, and adherence to seclusion protocols.

Understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience in psychoeducation is required.

The nursing staff will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including social services and other support personnel.

Nurse-to-patient ratios on night shifts are 8 : 1.

The ability to provide care for adult and geriatric patients is essential.

Candidates should be available to work during major holidays as required.

Compliance with all health and safety regulations is mandatory for a timely start.

All applicants must provide references from supervisory personnel.

The role may involve some adaptability in scheduling based on unit needs.
