Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Risk Management and Financial Governance to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying data solutions to support risk management and financial governance initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and architectures to support risk management and financial governance
  • Implement data solutions using Azure cloud technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain complex data models and data visualizations to support risk management and financial governance
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, risk management, and financial governance

Requirements :

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Expertise in Risk Management and Financial Governance
  • Strong proficiency in Azure cloud technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL / ELT processes
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and risk management frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and risk analysis techniques
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Certifications in Azure, risk management, or financial governance.
