Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare menu items according to Johnny Carino's recipes, plate presentations and specifications within cook time requirements
- Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by Guest and prepare and cook food according to instructions
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, and dishwashers
- Complete all assigned prep work
- Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times
- Set up work station
- Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
- Be a core team member in a fast-paced kitchen
Qualifications and Skills :
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of agePrevious Line Cook or cooking experience preferredPhysical Demands :
Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds in weightAbility to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelvesMobility required during the entire shiftMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in lengthWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer
