As a Sourcing Lead for the on road team (Indian & Slingshot), you will be responsible for supporting the strategy development and implementation for assigned categories in alignment with the broader Commodity Strategy. You will manage the supply base to ensure that all suppliers meet our four priorities : Delivery, Quality, New Product Integration, and Cost Competitiveness.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Supplier Relations :

• Manage assigned and establish new supplier relationships to ensure sufficient communication and alignment between the suppliers and Polaris. Participate in the execution of critical supply agreements and LTAs.
• Initiate request for proposal and quote for new parts and part revisions to approved suppliers based on defined commodity strategy and propose supplier selections for assigned commodity.
• Evaluate supplier capability and fit for overall Commodity.
• Identify and execute the implementation of cost reduction projects, supplier exits, and tool transitions.
• Manage cost, schedule, technical, and drawing release status of projects and lead corrective actions as required.

Working Conditions :

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $80,000 to $92,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
