Overview
As a Technical Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing first level software and hardware technical support to all credit union employees.
Responsibilities
What you'll do :
- Provide support to credit union employees on all information technology related issues. This requires carrying a cell phone and working some non-traditional hours.
- Log details of support provided in the service desk ticketing system for problem resolution tracking and knowledge base creation.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist with password resets, account access, and basic application support.
- Create, modify, and terminate user accounts in accordance with company policies.
- Perform hardware, software installations, moves, additions and changes for PCs and related peripherals.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all software solutions offered by FORUM Technology. Provide input to the development team regarding experience gained from use and support of FORUM Technology software products.
- Maintain a basic knowledge of all software products and hardware used by FORUM Credit Union including proficient skills in the following : Microsoft Office, Windows Server Administration and Operating Systems and phone system administration.
