Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL , is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a respected community hospital environment.
Position Details
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits for adult and / or adolescent patients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and medication management.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate, compliant EHR documentation.Support crisis intervention, stabilization, and discharge planningQualifications
Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Current and unrestricted Illinois APRN license with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification.Current DEA registration and controlled substance license (or ability to obtain prior to start).Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred (new graduates with strong training considered).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills.Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive care.Benefits

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis.
