Job Summary Details :

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to address tenant reactive / requested repairs and services and basic preventative maintenance work orders, while maintaining a safe environment for building occupants.

Pay : $16.50 / hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Electrical

  • Walk facility and replace light bulbs and ceiling tiles as needed.
  • Report light ballast issues to engineering.
  • Troubleshoot appliances and other equipment.

Plumbing

  • Unclog drains with plunger or drain snake.
  • Locate and close isolation valves for emergencies.

    • Carpentry and Locks

  • Install shelves, soap dispensers, and other fixtures.
  • Perform simple woodworking repairs.
  • Hang clocks, pictures bulletin boards, coat hooks, etc.

    • Miscellaneous

  • Knowledge of computers, work order systems, and ability to read reports.
  • Be able to communicate and respond to tenant requests as instructed.
  • Complete assigned maintenance work orders in accordance to customer and management timelines and expectations.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, climb on ladders and work in confined spaces.
  • Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ year of experience in related role
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Customer Service experience preferred
