Key Responsibilities :
- Administer radiation therapy to patients following physician prescriptions and treatment plans.
- Operate radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators, safely and effectively.
- Accurately position patients and deliver prescribed doses of radiation.
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications :
ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required.Active Texas State License as a Radiation Therapist.BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care standards.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Benefits :
