About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : 12 months of prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting

License : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS and CPI required

Must-Have : Ability to perform CIWA / COWS assessments and undergo urinalysis; must be able to establish and maintain firm empathic boundaries

Description :

Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for ages 18 and older.

The nurse-patient ratio is one nurse on the night shift.

For the hours of 7 PM to 11 PM, there are two to three behavioral health associates on shift.

From 11 PM to 7 AM, there is one behavioral health associate on shift.

Voluntary patients are accepted, and there are no restraints used.

Administrative staff and a doctor are on call at all times.

No on-site security is available.

Visiting hours are scheduled for Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM.

The role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing and the ability to support patients in recovery.
