JOB TITLE : Direct Support Professional I / II

We’re looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and help individuals with disabilities learn, grow, and become more independent. If you have a passion for working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we want to meet YOU!

✨ JOB DESCRIPTION ✨

• Coaching in Daily Living Skills : Provide one-on-one coaching to support daily activities.
• Community Resource Education : Assist in using community resources.
• Accurate Record Keeping : Maintain ID notes and communication logs related to Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
• Household Support : Help with meal prep, maintaining a clean and organized home, budgeting, and transportation.
• Medication Management : Assist with medication and record keeping.
• Personal Care : Help with medical / dental appointments and all aspects of personal care.
• Social Skills Development : Support individuals in attending social activities to enhance social skills.
• Public Transportation Training : Teach program participants to use public transportation and access benefits like Social Security, SSI, IHSS, and Section 8 housing.
• Transfers Assistance : Help individuals with both weight-bearing and non-weight-bearing transfers.
