Job Summary : The Server is responsible for providing guests with an exceptional dining experience by delivering attentive and personalized service in a fine dining setting. This role requires a professional and polished individual who excels in customer service, has a strong knowledge of menu items and wine pairings, and can effectively execute the steps of service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Customer Service : Greet guests warmly and engage with them in a friendly and professional manner. Assist guests with menu selections, providing detailed descriptions and recommendations. Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any requests or concerns.
- Tableside Presentation : Present menus, specials, and wine lists to guests and answer any questions they may have. Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the point-of sale system. Serve food and beverages to guests with precision and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Menu and Wine Pairings : Have a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Recommend wine pairings to complement guests’ meal selections and preferences. Stay informed about daily specials, promotions, and menu changes.
- Attention to Detail : Set tables with precision, ensuring proper placement of silverware, glassware, and linens. Monitor tableware for cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining experience. Attend to special requests and dietary restrictions, ensuring all guest needs are met.
- Team Collaboration : Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service flow. Work collaboratively with the front of house team to uphold service standards and exceed guest expectations. Assist with side work duties, such as polishing silverware, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

Requirements : Qualifications :
Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred.Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine pairings.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Professional appearance and demeanor.Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.Working Conditions :
Fast-paced restaurant environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.Must be able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
