Position Overview
The Director of Operations will oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of Center Stage. This role ensures our processes, systems, and teams are aligned to deliver on-time, high-quality results for our clients. Reporting directly to ownership, this leader will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and building scalable systems that support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Own day-to-day operations across production, logistics, warehousing, e-commerce, and tour / event operations.
- Ensure departments are aligned and executing with clear responsibilities, efficient communication, and accountability.
- Partner with the Creative, Sales, and Marketing teams to support client success from design through delivery.
E-commerce Operations
Manage e-commerce store operations (Shopify and related tools), ensuring smooth product launches, inventory accuracy, fulfillment, and customer experience.Oversee coordination between marketing, design, and fulfillment teams for online sales.Tour & Event Operations
Direct merchandise planning and logistics for tours, festivals, and live events.Coordinate with partners and clients to ensure smooth on-site operations, inventory flow, and reporting.Process & Systems
Lead implementation and adoption of operational systems, including our internal app, Airtable, and inventory / royalty tracking platforms.Standardize workflows across project management, logistics, e-commerce, and live events to ensure scalability.Develop KPIs, reporting dashboards, and review cadences for tracking operational performance.Team Leadership
Provide strategic oversight to project managers, e-commerce staff, and design staffEstablish training materials, SOPs, and accountability frameworks to ensure consistency.Build a culture of ownership, problem-solving, and collaboration across departments.Qualifications
5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in consumer products, apparel, merchandising, or live events.Strong track record of building and scaling operational systems in a fast-growth company.Experience managing e-commerce (Shopify), inventory management software, and ERP systems.Proficiency with project management tools (Airtable, Monday.com, or similar).Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and design scalable solutions.What We Offer
