We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our vibrant team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to our company's financial growth and stability. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting and financial operations. This position requires a strong understanding of complex accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities :

As a CPA, your primary duties will include :

  • Overseeing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Coordinating and executing the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
  • Developing and implementing effective accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Providing exceptional client service, addressing and resolving financial inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations, and preparing and filing tax returns.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Participating in special projects and implementing financial systems and processes improvements as needed.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Masters degree is a plus.
  • A valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
  • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end and year-end processes.
  • A proven track record of managing a wide range of financial responsibilities, including complex accounting activities.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, and experience with accounting software.
  • A strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high degree of professionalism and a strong ethical code.
