Crane Operator Training Instructor

Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Crane Operator Training Instructor to join our team. The instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Crane Operator training to individuals on BPCC campuses and at various correctional facilities throughout Northwest Louisiana. The ideal candidate will emphasize safety and proper equipment handling in all lessons, ensuring students acquire the necessary skills to operate cranes proficiently and safely in various industrial and commercial environments. This role requires a high degree of flexibility in scheduling and a willingness to travel to various training locations.

Salary : $50.00 per hour

Location : Bossier City, LA

Minimum Qualifications :

• A relevant Associate's Degree and four (4) years of professional experience and skill related to Crane Operator OR a relevant Certificate and five (5) years of occupational experience and skill related to Crane Operator
• Prior experience in training or teaching is highly desirable.
• OSHA Crane Operator Trainer Certification required or must be willing to obtain certification within the first four (4) weeks of employment.
• First Aid / CPR certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and Crane Operator operation safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop engaging training materials and presentations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management System, web browsers, and online Crane Operator training platforms).
