Position Overview :
The Program Director of Transitional Living reports to the Executive Director and oversees all duties related to running the Transitional Living program and the 24 unit apartment complex. The PD cultivates a strong partnership with the Executive Director and Property Manager / Intake Director to create and maintain a consistent, stable and safe environment towards growth and independence in alignment with Refuge for Womens mission, vision and values.
Your team contribution :
The Transitional Living Director is a member of the Transitional Care Team. This position often serves in the role of coordinator of all the services provided by each individual member of the team. In addition, the PD works one-on-one with residents to help them each achieve success and independence.
Youll be successful if :
You have the ability to switch between big picture coordination of services and caring individually for the residents we serve. The buck will often stop with you and it will be your responsibility to make sure that goals for the residents and the team are being met. You wont work alone in this task as you have an entire Care Team. However, youll need to be able to coordinate the work of everyone to achieve a common goal.
