Position Details Content Strategist

Work Location : Atlanta, GA 30303 or Dallas, TX 75202

Positions Requested : 1

Hours per Day : 8

Hours per Week : 40

Total Hours : 3-year contract

Project - Content Strategist Minimum of 3 days per week in office.

Hours : 8-hour days, typically 9-5 : 30 with a half-hour lunch, with some flexibility.

Top Skills Required 5+ years' experience writing and / or copy editing at an advertising agency or in-house agency.

Strong digital portfolio including web pages, websites / microsites, and product descriptions.

Ability to present work and rationalize the thinking behind it.

Able to manage multiple projects and collaborate with designers, producers, and strategists to support marketing objectives.

SEO, Consumer Product Goods, eCommerce, and / or tech experience a plus.

B2B experience a plus.

Responsibilities and Daily Activities Develop promotional copy for offers and new products in a retail environment.

Create and maintain copy documents for design and content teams.

Attention to detail and accuracy, working within established processes.

Collaborate with designers to develop web pages that tell a story, sell products, and highlight offers.

Partner with creative teams to ensure marketing support.

Present work and rationalize the creative decisions.

Manage multiple projects efficiently.

Required Qualifications Degree in Marketing, English, or Creative Writing.

5+ years' experience in writing or copy editing at an agency or in-house.

Strong digital portfolio, preferably with B2B experience.

Mastery of storytelling to convert customers and support sales.

Experience with SEO, CPG, eCommerce, or tech fields a plus.

Experience in response-driven marketing preferred.

Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Proofreading skills.

Video script writing and UX experience a plus.

Pay Range : $35 - $40 / hr W2.

Compensation depends on role scope, location, skills, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick leave, and other applicable benefits.
