Job Information : Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver instructional lessons with clear and measurable outcomes in a developmentally appropriate manner with emphasis on differentiating instruction and using assessments effectively.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment through supportive exchanges with students and clear expectations for community behavior.
• Use a broad range of instructional modalities to teach the Spanish language.
• Use a broad range of technology tools to bring to life Spanish instruction.
• Work and communicate effectively with parents and staff members.
• Articulate and model the school's mission and core values.
• Support and follow school policies.
• Be a positive and contributing member of the professional community.
• Maintain consistent and on-time attendance for supervision and instruction of students.
• Other duties as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Majority of work is performed in a school / classroom environment. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate. Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function. Rarely absent or late unless the situation is of an emergency nature.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the teacher is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The teacher is regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and / or kneel. The teacher is occasionally required to lift and / or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must have sufficient mobility to navigate within a large school building.
