Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Mall Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a vibrant retail and mall location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with the public, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. This is a driving position, requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.63 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sat 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sun 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe conditions.
  • Monitor the premises for any suspicious activity or potential hazards, reporting findings as directed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal staff while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with site management and / or law enforcement as instructed during emergencies or special situations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Operation of a Segway or T3 is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
