About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Shift : 10 hours Days

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 3 years

License : Required

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

Must have Trauma Level 1 experience.

10-hour shifts to work independently.

Every 4th weekend required.

Call shifts required, averaging one to two per month.

3-4 late / flex shifts per 4-week schedule.

1-4 overnight call shifts per week.

1 late shift per week (830-1900 or 1030-2100).

Description :

Nurse will be required to circulate for one OR room.

Must be flexible to work in all specialties if needed.

The unit has a bed size of 35 operating rooms.

The nurse-to-patient ratio for this unit is one nurse per room.

Dress code includes scrubs provided with no earrings, adhering to the surgical dress code.

All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.

The expectation is that a traveler will be oriented to the unit within one week.

Cancellation policy allows for client cancellation up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.

The charting system used is EPIC.
