ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Thornton, Colorado.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 5 : 1

    • \n

  • Work on a 29-bed medical / surgical unit that can overflow to 39 beds total

    • \n

  • Must have telemetry skills and ability to read strips

    • \n

  • ACLS certification preferred

    • \n

  • Work with remote telemetry equipment

    • \n

  • Use MediTech EMR system

    • \n

  • Care for post-operative surgical patients

    • \n

  • Manage cardiac drips including amiodarone and diltiazem, as well as heparin drips

    • \n

  • Work alongside charge nurse, 8 RNs, and ACT (Assistant Care Technician) from 10am-10pm

    • \n

  • High energy unit environment seeking hard workers with fun personalities

  • Unit utilizes new equipment and technology

The medical / surgical unit is located on the 5th floor of the main hospital building and features modern equipment and technology. The facility maintains a collaborative team environment with dedicated support staff and focuses on providing quality patient care in a dynamic, high-energy setting.
