General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction Our client is a mixed animal practice hiring for an experienced Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides approximately 80% companion animal and 20% large animal care, with services extending to both small pets and cattle. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with a closure on Wednesdays from 12 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 PM. The clinic is open Saturdays from 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM and closed on Sundays. The position offers flexibility for full-time employment. Role Description and Responsibilities The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care across both companion and large animal caseloads. Clinical duties include wellness visits, diagnostics, surgery (soft tissue and orthopedic), dental care, acupuncture, veterinary orthopedic manipulation, emergency services, and herd health programs for cattle. The role involves working both independently and collaboratively, with responsibilities covering medical assessments, surgical procedures, operating advanced medical equipment, and providing client education. This position is suited for experienced veterinarians. Practice Details The hospital features electronic medical records, digital radiography, an in-house laboratory, tonometry, laser therapy, gas anesthesia with monitoring, and a full suite of surgical and diagnostic equipment. Services offered include wellness care, dental care, surgical services, boarding, grooming, diagnostics, specialty care, end-of-life care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, and pharmacy services. Large animal care is provided through ambulatory services. The culture promotes teamwork, preventative medicine, client education, and compassionate care. Team The team consists of three doctors supported by an experienced staff.
