Department Support Specialist I

We're looking for a skilled Department Support Specialist to join our team.

This is a customer service role primarily works on cases in Salesforce related to billing and other operational issues. Will primarily act as an intermediary between the customer, the company / internal stakeholders, and potentially the utility. They handle cases escalated from tier one.

Position Highlights :

Location : Houston, TX

Pay Rate : Min. $25 / HR

Shift : M-F | 8AM-5PM

Schedule : HYBRID

M-F : 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • 6 mos. Contract - Start Date 10 / 01 / 25 (Potential for F / T Conversion)

Responsibilities :

  • POC for customers regarding billing and operational issues.
  • Looking for adaptable, positive, self-starter with attention to detail and strong time management / prioritization skills, as the role involves working independently.
  • Investigate, remedy, and respond to business-related inquiries from vendors as well as internal Project Managers / Stakeholders.
  • Prior working knowledge of Salesforce, cash Financial Systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to resolve issues with professionalism.
  • Qualifications :

  • 1+ years of Customer Service related experience.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Utility / Energy market billing experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel - ( Excel program testing required).
  • Dress Code : Business Casual

    Pay Details : $25.00 per hour
