Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 18+ months of experience and current ARRT (CT) and BLS certification for night shifts in a community hospital.

Responsibilities

Work within a CT department serving inpatients, ER patients, and adult ICU cases

Setting is a community hospital and Level III Trauma Center

Wide variety of cases including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, and CTAs

Daily caseload averages 160 scans

Procedures involve use of contrast, multiplanar reconstruction, and GE scanner / equipment

Night shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 21 : 30 to 8 : 00

100% floating required within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed

EMR system is Cerner and experience is required

First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Up to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off can be auto-approved; more requires approval

All travelers must be willing to float as needed

Returning employees must have been away from the facility for at least 12 months before being considered as travelers

Indiana residents are considered local for Allied positions

Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified

Requirements

Current ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required

Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent CT technologist experience required

Experience in inpatient, ER, adult ICU, and trauma settings required

Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and the scan types listed in job details

License required if applicable and must be in hand prior to start date

University attended must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation

Two supervisor references required for consideration
