A company is looking for a Divisional Coding Quality Auditor & Educator.
Key Responsibilities
Conducts quality assurance audits of inpatient and outpatient coding, providing actionable recommendations for improvement
Reviews medical records for coding accuracy and collaborates with coding staff and clinical documentation specialists
Creates audit reports and presents findings to leadership while facilitating educational sessions for coding staff
Required Qualifications
Completion of a coding certificate program
5 years of experience coding acute care hospital charts
Expert knowledge of coding processes, medical terminology, and coding guidelines
Certified Coding Specialist or Registered Health Information Administrator or Technician
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with database programs
