Job Opportunity : Junior FOIA Analyst

TechOp Solutions International is seeking a dedicated Junior FOIA Analyst to join our team. This position is crucial in supporting our government clients in managing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. The ideal candidate will thrive in a detail-oriented role that requires both analytical skills and a commitment to transparency in government operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage FOIA requests end-to-end, from intake through final response
• Conduct records searches, document review, redactions, and exemption application
• Draft and edit official correspondence in compliance with FOIA and Privacy Act guidelines
• Apply QA / QC checks to ensure accuracy in redactions, citations, and formatting
• Coordinate with team leads or agency stakeholders when needed
• Track, log, and report FOIA activity using standard FOIA tracking tools
