Day shift, 7am - 7pm, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

\n\nJob Description\n

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in a dynamic Med / Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals and lead them to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Provide holistic care ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency.

    • \n

  • Accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and / or Nursing Supervisor during shifts.

    • \n

  • Ensure exceptional patient care is coordinated effectively for both adult and pediatric patients.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of three years of acute care experience.

    • \n

  • Preference given to candidates familiar with Meditech.

    • \n

  • Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.

    • \n

  • BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required prior to start.
