Position : Construction Assistant

Department : Construction

FLSA : Non-Exempt

Location : 2240 N. Broadway, Moore, Oklahoma 73160, Newcastle, Norman and various locations (indoor and outdoor)

Hours : Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm

General Purpose : To assist the superintendent with construction, maintenance, and lawn maintenance activities.

Supervision Received : Works under the direct supervision of the Superintendent / Builder / Construction Manager.

Supervision Exercised : None

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Maintain landscaping, yards, shrubs, trees, and watering sod.
• Help maintain clean streets and gutters.
• Perform minor touch ups and some activities on punch-list.
• Responsible for the level of quality in product
• Comprehend the process of residential construction and use common knowledge
• Walk every room of every house, every day
• Ability to deliver houses in the allowed time as set forth by contracts
• Keep signs upright and orderly
• Communicate with sub-contractors
• Lock and unlock doors daily
• Present recommendations to Builder and Superintendent
• Attend all staff meetings
• Any other duties assigned
• Safety sensitive position
