Security Officer - Logistics Patrol

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for everyone onsite. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service through strong communication and teamwork. Pay Rate : $15.70 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, including suspicious activities or potential hazards, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or site management.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting any unauthorized individuals or vehicles.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel, providing assistance as required within the logistics and distribution environment.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures relevant to the logistics and distribution location, and participate in ongoing training provided by Allied Universal.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed, which may include assisting with evacuations or guiding emergency responders on-site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
