Warehouse Associate – Long-Term Contract / Contract-to-Hire Location : Madison, GA Schedule : Monday - Fridays, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM Pay Rate : $16.50 / hour Company Overview : Join a leading medical device manufacturer dedicated to improving lives through innovation and quality. We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-minded Warehouse Spore Placer to support our sterilization and shipping operations in Madison, GA. This is a long-term contract position with potential for contract-to-hire for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Configure outbound shipments; verify catalog numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates. Stack boxes onto pallets according to defined palletization diagrams. Receive materials from other company divisions / departments for ethylene oxide sterilization. Complete JD Edwards transactions using IBM Data Collection scanners. Build sterilization loads following established diagrams and procedures. Locate and organize materials into designated pallet or bin locations. Operate inventory control systems where applicable. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with Quality System Regulations. Support buying and selling processes as required. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education : High School Diploma or GED required. Experience : 1–2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow both written and verbal instructions. Basic English reading and communication skills required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and counting. Basic math and reasoning skills to handle operational tasks and problem-solving. Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and / or move up to 30 pounds regularly. Must be able to stand, bend, lift, pull, and twist for extended periods. Must be free of health conditions that restrict heavy physical activity. Close vision required for reading labels and documentation.
