Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department Assignment focuses on PET and general nuclear medicine (no cardiac cases) Uses Siemens PET CT and Siemens and Phillips nuclear medicine cameras Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM (5x8 hour shifts) Rotating weeks of on-call for emergency cases are required Travelers may be expected to float to similar units within their scope EPIC charting experience is preferred Responsibilities include performing PET and general nuclear medicine procedures using Siemens and Phillips equipment Department does not perform cardiac nuclear medicine studies Brief orientation will be provided for floating assignments Maximum of 3 days of requested time off is allowed, and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation Former perm staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as travelers Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this assignment Requirements NMTCB and PET certifications are required No minimum experience required; first time travelers are welcome Valid Allied license required if applicable Royal blue or khaki scrubs required Must complete onsite module training during orientation Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622221.
