  • ARRT Radiography
  • CCI - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)
  • CCI - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
  • CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • CCI - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • BLS

Must-Have :

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, positioning of patients, and medical ethics
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Capacity to report to work as scheduled consistently and dependably
  • Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations

  • Description :

    Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor / preceptor.

    This entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services to adult and / or pediatric patient populations.

    The purpose is to aid medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects, and diseases.

    Utilizing entry-level knowledge, abilities, skills, and available resources.

    Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care.

    Support services are provided under routine or emergent conditions in various care settings.

    Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.

    Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.

    Identifies and implements the actions necessary to achieve clinical outcomes, operational goals, and service expectations.

    Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic equipment and techniques.

    Performs a diverse range of diagnostic, interventional, and / or surgical procedures.

    Conducts post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed and documented.

    Ensures technical quality is consistent with established department protocols and accreditation standards.

    Transfers images and data to appropriate archival systems.

    Enters technical data / findings and prepares study for reporting by physician.

    Performs operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting per manufacturer instructions.

    Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.

    Maintains competencies and promotes continuous improvements in care and treatments.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Candidate will need to take 5-8 days of call per month.

    Vascular, neuro, and body studies involved.

    This position requires the ability to participate in on-call duties, including weekend coverage.
