Duties :
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with a fleet of GM vehicles
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components
- Use power tools, welding equipment, and soldering tools to complete repairs
- Operate heavy equipment as needed
Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel MechanicStrong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel enginesFamiliarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plusAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical manualsProficient in using power tools, welding equipment, and soldering toolsKnowledge of electrical systems in diesel enginesSkills :
