Description :

This is a night shift nursing position in a medical / surgical / telemetry unit.

The shift hours are from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00.

Patient ratios are 1 : 5.

Candidates must have at least two years of nursing experience.

All candidates are required to have BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.

Travelers may be floated within scope to meet facility needs.

Blocked schedule requests may be accommodated.

Staffed beds on the unit provide capability for monitoring a diverse adult patient population.

Patients may present with varying degrees of illness, including post-operative transplant patients.

Nurses will care for individuals requiring cardiac monitoring.

The clinical setting supports interdisciplinary teamwork and includes various critical care procedures.

Daily census is approximately 32 patients.

Candidates should possess experience with patients diagnosed with COPD, cardiac issues, chest pain, diabetes, and those recovering from surgery.

Additional experience with central line draws and telemetry monitoring is preferred.

Nurses are encouraged to apply, especially those who have experience in trauma and critical care settings.
