Sentara Virginia Beach GH is searching for an experienced Medical / Surgical or IMCU RN to join the Resource Pool - for their ED Holds in the Emergency Dept.
Up to $20,000 Sign on Bonus for Experienced Qualified Candidates.
Hours / Shift : FT - Nights 7p-7a
Job Description :
The Registered Nursing (RN) w orks collaboratively with the ED team caring for patients admitted to a med / surg level of care awaiting a room. This RN is part of the Resource Pool and will float to IMC / Med Surg units when needed.
Department / Position Overview :
This is a 41-bed Level III Trauma ED with 6 beds dedicated to a lock down psychiatric screening and treatment area. We are a stroke certified ED and receive STEMI and psychiatric patients. The ED treats about 150 patients per day with a dedicated radiology suite in the ED for plain film and CT imaging.
