We’re searching for a Senior Director, Creative & Branded Content to lead the in-house creative team for our client, a leader in healthcare services. This is a high-profile contract role (approximately 6 months) where you’ll shape creative vision, strengthen brand identity, and deliver impactful storytelling across channels.

About the Role

Are you a proven creative leader who can balance brand stewardship with fresh, innovative ideas? Can you lead, direct and get tactical in design and content? Do you thrive on guiding teams to deliver bold, on-strategy creative that connects with diverse audiences?

In this role, you’ll lead an established and INCREDIBLE creative department of designers, copywriters, project managers, and production specialists. You’ll oversee intake, management, and delivery of creative requests, ensuring every project aligns with brand standards and delivers measurable impact. From developing brand guidelines and inspiring brainstorming sessions to overseeing multi-channel campaigns, you’ll be the ambassador for creative excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary creative team, reinforcing brand standards and ensuring on-strategy, on-brief deliverables. This is a coach player role!
  • Define the creative vision for brand, advertising campaigns, and marketing messages across channels
  • Develop and oversee brand identity, visual guidelines, and corporate standards to ensure consistency company-wide
  • Direct brainstorming sessions, creative workshops, and concept development with internal and external partners
  • Oversee development of print, digital, video, environmental, and corporate collateral to support sales, marketing, and client engagement
  • Partner with stakeholders to prioritize and influence creative needs, delivering compelling communications that resonate with internal and external audiences
  • Manage external creative and print vendor relationships, including budgets, timelines, and adherence to brand standards
  • Continuously evaluate tools, processes, and technologies to optimize creative delivery and improve efficiencies
  • Develop training and career development opportunities to grow creative staff capabilities
  • Manage departmental budget, staffing, and performance while modeling strong leadership behaviors

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience); HS diploma or GED required
  • 10+ years of creative services experience in design, copy, digital, or video production
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in an in-house creative or corporate agency environment
  • Deep expertise in creative deliverables including print, digital, and video production processes
  • Strong understanding of brand management, design processes, and project management principles
  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of an organization
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills — able to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling messages
  • Experience marketing PBM or healthcare services strongly preferred
  • Skilled at driving organizational change, breaking down silos, and building high-performing teams
  • Preferred : Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Acrobat); web design / interactive experience
