Knows Demonstrates correct labeling and dating proce dures along with proper food storage techniques Uses knives and cutting boards appropriately Demonstrates how to operate small equipment : griddle, can opener, toaster, etc Demonstrates how to prepare non-cooked menu items : sandwiches, sides, entree salads, etc Demonstrates correct portioning of all menu items during meal service consistent with menu extensions Able to read and interpret patient / resident meal tickets and serve meal consistent with prescribed High School diploma preferred, but not required Some experience preferred, but not required Garden Spot Communities is a nonprofit organization with locations in New Holland, Akron, and Zieglerville, PA, offering healing and retirement living at its best! We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.

Shifts Hiring For : Part Time - 3 : 30pm - 7 : 30pm
Salary Range : Experience based pay starting at $13.25 / hr PLUS Shift Differentials that include $1 for Evenings and an additional $1 for Weekends!
