The hiring organization is a rapidly growing, multispecialty physician group practice serving Palm Beach and Broward counties. They boast a team of more than 100 providers and more than 30 offices, with services that include, but are not limited to, primary care, cardiology, neurology, hematology / oncology, and laboratory services.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The new physician will provide general primary care for a panel of adult patients. Overall duties include, but are not limited to :

• conducting physical examinations to make diagnoses
• providing wellness and preventive services (annual checkups / routine physical exams)
• discussing patient medical histories and symptoms
• developing and communicating treatment plans
• providing proactive treatments and diagnoses
• modifying treatment plans based on patient progress
• ordering bloodwork, imaging, and other tests
• prescribing medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes
• communicating with patients about their health concerns

A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference and types of appointments scheduled.

All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants.

The practice utilizes an EHR.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Florida medical license
• DEA
• Board Certification or Eligibility, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• 1+ year practice experience strongly preferred
