Essential duties and responsibilities
- Assist the site Engineering Director and CI Technician to develop ideas for improving line uptime, reduce crewing and / or increase line speed.
- Develop and execute solutions on existing packaging lines and processes to support plant initiatives
- Fabricate or oversee the fabrication of parts.
- Maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
- Welding for equipment repair or fabrication.
- Perform minor electrical installation and control work
- Communicate information with other team members and supervisors daily.
- Repair equipment breakdowns using diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques with the aid of equipment manuals and blueprints.
- Initiate changes and modifications to equipment for safety, ease of operation, and efficiency.
- Inform the MRO clerk of recommendations for appropriate spare parts.
- Comply with the company safety rules, and standard operating procedures and follow GMP guidelines.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Department Manager.

Ability to work independently with good knowledge of packaging equipment and conveyors, including fillers, cappers, labelers, and bundlers. Ability to develop and implement solutions and repairs.
