A nationally respected consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer or Project Manager to join its growing team in Madison Wisconsin. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives on solving complex structural challenges and guiding project teams through successful delivery.

You will lead design efforts for a wide range of building projects including healthcare education multi-family hospitality and commercial developments. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff managing client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design and analysis for new construction and renovation projects
  • Manage project teams budgets schedules and client communications
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Participate in proposal development client presentations and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in structural building design
  • PE license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain
  • Strong leadership communication and client management skills
  • Experience in business development is preferred
  • Master's degree and licensure in additional Midwest states are a plus
