Job Title : 2nd Shift Bakery Distribution Helper / Basket Stacker

Number of Openings : ONE (1)

Base Rate / Hour : $26.60

Hours : Normally start 2 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. (May be scheduled to work other shifts as assigned and hours may vary with shipping schedule. Must be able to work overtime. Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.)

Job Description :

• Unload truck and store product on the floor, manually unload stacks of full baskets from the trailer, pick Bakery orders (which requires the manual pick of baskets at vertical heights equivalent to 16 layers high).
• Load trucks with Bakery orders and maintain a clean work environment.
• The Distribution Helper must support all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. This support may include but is not limited to : serving in the role of 5S Leader, actively participating in all audits (i.e. Daily Sweep, Weekly Spot, etc.) and all aspects of team concepts, such as displaying a positive attitude, which are necessary to work collaboratively within a team environment. The person in this position must also perform other duties as assigned by his / her supervisor and / or manager.

Qualifications : Applicant will be required to take and successfully pass a forklift operator's test.

Special Requirements : This job will require the successful bidder to perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment, as well as other operator-driven reliability (ODR) duties including, but not limited to, cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating as assigned by supervisor.

Education : A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
