Locum Tenens Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician

Location : Near New Braunfels, TX

Dates : ASAP - Ongoing

We are currently seeking dedicated Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians for an exciting locum tenens opportunity. This position is ideal for board-certified / board-eligible Pediatric Fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine Physicians or Residency-trained Pediatricians with experience in high-volume emergency departments. Position Overview :

  • Position Type : Locum Tenens
  • Duration : 3 months, with potential for ongoing extensions
  • Annual ED Volume : 46,000+ visits
  • Coverage :

45 hours / day of physician coverage

  • 52 hours / day of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage
  • Facility Features :

    • 40 private ED rooms

  • First sensory-friendly Pediatric ED in the region

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certification / Eligibility :

    • Pediatric Fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine Physicians

  • Residency-trained Pediatricians with high-volume ED experience
  • Licensure :

    • Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas

  • Status :

    • Independent Contractor (1099)

  • Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a busy, high-volume emergency department
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians, APPs, and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Manage a wide range of acute pediatric cases with expertise and precision
  • Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and treatment protocols in a modern and well-equipped facility
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
