Job Summary :
The Construction Manager leads the field construction team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and schedule integrity across all active projects. This role is responsible for mentoring Superintendents, enforcing accountability, and ensuring each project transitions from structure through closeout according to company standards.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in residential construction management.
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple job sites and personnel.
- Deep knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and quality control from foundation through closeout.
- Proficiency in Buildertrend or comparable project management platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
- Capable of visiting and assessing job sites regularly, including climbing and physical movement.
Key Responsibilities (GWC) :
LMA (Lead, Manage, Hold Accountable) – Leads and develops Superintendents, ensuring adherence to company systems and processes.Training and Development – Implements training programs for new and existing Superintendents to strengthen execution standards and knowledge.Schedule Accountability – Reviews and approves project schedules, monitors performance, and enforces corrective action as needed to meet company deadlines.Quality Control – Oversees quality assurance processes from shell to finish.Structure-to-Close Management – Coordinates progress through key milestones from pilings to turnover.
