Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal treatments (scaling, polishing, root planing).
• Examine patients’ oral cavity for signs of diseases, abnormalities, and provide findings to the dentist.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
• Provide preventive care, including fluoride treatments and sealants.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in developing and maintaining patient treatment plans.
• Document and update patient records accurately, including medical and dental histories.
• Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments, equipment, and work areas.
• Stay current on dental practices, techniques, and continuing education requirements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control procedures.
