We are looking for a compassionate and skilled mental health therapist to join both our Day Treatment Program as a Group Facilitator and Outpatient Practices as a licensed mental health provider at our Eau Claire office . In the Group Facilitator role, you will lead structured therapeutic group sessions designed to support individuals facing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and teens in a day treatment or similar setting, an understanding of group dynamics, and commitment to fostering a supportive therapeutic environment. Training and ongoing support and collaboration will be provided upon hire.

Responsibilities for Outpatient Therapist

  • Provide community-based services in partnership with counties, school districts, and the general community.  Services include individual, family, and group therapy across multiple settings, which may include support for day treatment group sessions, family consultations and individual sessions of day treatment clients as needed.
  • Conduct Clinical Assessments for all new clients.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with clients.
  • Coordinate with external providers and treatment facilities to coordinate care when necessary.
  • Proactively identify methods to improve patient outcomes.
  • Completion of all required documentation established the DHS 35 and DHS 40 agency / program requirements.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's individual needs.
  • Update / Review Treatment Plans to adjust / update as needed with client progress.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or a closely related field.
  • Applicants must either be able to bill for their services or have the potential to bill for services in the future.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate clients.
  • Ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical diagnostic activities and various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and local ordinances and policies regarding therapeutic issues.
  • Ability to manage group dynamics, maintain boundaries, and provide support in challenging situations.
  • Organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate up-to-date client records.
