PURPOSE

The Admissions Specialist IV, under minimal supervision, provides customer service to students, faculty, and staff through various means of communication. Offers information regarding university services and information related to admissions, academics, registration procedures, advising services, residency, transcripts, academic programs, and financial aid. The assisting of uploading of electronic files and other electronically delivered test scores, pushing applications, and printing letters.

DESCRIPTION

Functional Area 1 : Operations

Percent Effort : 65%

• Manage the document imaging (Laserfiche) program. Maintain scanning and profiling and document imaging standards that support accuracy and efficiency. Review and coordinate the correction of document imaging errors. Review imaging processes and standards as needed.
• Oversee the daily collection and distribution of all incoming documents, both hard copy and electronic mail.
• Disseminate admission documents to appropriate staff for processing. Assignments encourage workflow efficiency and accuracy.
• Customer service answer incoming phone calls and respond to department email inquiries.
