Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary :

Assists Emergency Department Nurses and Physicians in delivering high quality patient centered care, and maintains supplies and equipment in the Emergency department. This position also functions as a unit coordinator providing clerical support.

Job Requirements

Required :

• One year previous direct patient care in an emergency department, ambulance, fire or emergent pre-hospital setting required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current EMT-B or EMT-P license (effective January 1, 2021 for all hires / transfers) required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.

Preferred :
