Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II , for our client in the La Vergne, TN area! Headway focuses on providing high-quality workers to clients through Headway’s proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce management practices. This position offers $22.00 / hr.-$23.00 / hr . rate. This is a temporary position with the potential to convert to a full-time position . We are looking to start individuals immediately!

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will :

• Perform technical maintenance for equipment, machinery, structures, and grounds while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in mentoring the Team Members in all aspects of maintenance to qualify for the next level in their career.
• Perform technical repairs on equipment under a Maintenance Mechanic III Technician or Maintenance Manager.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers, lights, outlets, circuit breakers, wiring, and electrical and electronic components of equipment. under proper supervision.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on daily workload.
• Disassemble, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, electrical systems and structures using blueprints, diagrams, manuals and written. instructions while adhering to all safety guidelines to ensure efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions of equipment and machinery promptly.
• Construct, install, and repair equipment in accordance with manufactures guidelines and repair manual.
• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility.
• Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as sortation systems and programmable controllers.
• Provide back-up for the Battery Room / Utility Team Member in changing batteries, repairing chargers, batteries and transporter, and battery testing.
• Ensure all hazardous material in the Maintenance Department is stored in a flammable storage cabinet at the end of each shift or when not in use.
