About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Valid RN License

Certifications : PALS, BLS, NRP preferred

Must-Have : Charting experience in Epic

Description :

The primary unit will be the PICU, but candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed.

Candidates should possess a valid RN license and certifications in PALS and BLS.

NRP certification is preferred.

Experience in charge nursing roles is desirable.

Candidates should be familiar with a patient ratio of 2 : 1.

Charting system experience is required, particularly with Epic.

Experience in a community hospital setting is preferred.

Travel experience is required.

Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and others are useful.

Candidates should have experience in managing pediatric patients with complex needs.

Skills required include acute and chronic renal failure management, care of ventilated patients, and PICC line management.

Candidates should be prepared to administer medication and perform procedures such as venipuncture and tracheostomy care.

Patient age groups include neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.

Strong interdisciplinary collaboration with various teams is essential.

Workers must adhere to infection control protocols and maintain current knowledge of medical best practices.

Candidates with experience in trauma care at Level I or II facilities are preferred.

In-home or remote work is not applicable for this position.
