job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSeeking two Cardiologist to join the dynamic team at a Heart & Vascular Center in Topeka, KS This is an incredible opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing practice while enjoying the resources of a renowned academic health system. Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE) Inpatient / Outpatient Mix Single-Specialty Group of 9 Cardiologists, 8 APC, and support staff (RN, LPN, CAN, MA, secretarial and front office) Practice Growth : adding 2 new cardiologist positions to the team Clinical practice plus dedicated admin time, no research nor teaching required; Procedure Rooms and Testing Available On-Site : Nuclear Stress, Echo, Vascular Sonography, Coumadin Clinic, Cardiac Rehab, Vein Clinic Referrals from Primary Care and Multiple Specialists Schedule : varies, some weekend requirement. Daily Patient Load : Clinical 2-3 patients per hour; Inpatient varies Call : 1 : 6 day rotation (5 per month), telephone only and with excess call pay EMR : Epic Base Salary + wRVU production incentive CME allowance Medical debt assistance + Consultative services by Navigate Student Loans Relocation allowance Recruitment Loan Paid malpractice coverage Health benefits + Retirement plan Marketing + practice growth assistance ABIM Board Certified / Eligible Cardiologist Fellowship Training in Cardiology / Cardiovascular Diseases Cardiology Fellows interested in a clinical setting are welcome to apply Combined service area population of 425,681 378 Licensed Beds 35,000 ER visits annually Over 4,000 OP Surgeries Over 2,000 IP Surgeries 400 privileged providers 1,500 employees
